Our mission is to build safe, affordable housing with people in Cumberland County, and that comes from a desire to put God’s love into action.
We are God’s hands and feet, here to serve others and show them His Love. Habitat is offering a tangible experience that will allow you to engage those around you, live your faith, and offer a unique opportunity to love your neighbor. Our upcoming project in Fayetteville will be a Home Of Faith. Our goal is to have this home fully funded by our faith-based community.
Habitat's Home Of Faith is a partnership with local faith-based organizations and businesses. Local churches and friends of the faith community will gather to help build and fund a home for a local family. We are inviting area congregations to put their faith into action by getting involved in this local mission work.
We are looking for 100 faith-based organizations to join the movement by donating $100 per month to the Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity's Home of Faith Campaign.

$100 a month can change the lives of an entire family, like Nyoshi Bizzell and her family.
Miss Bizzell, has been teaching at Capitol Encore Academy for 4 years. She is blessed with two beautiful children, a 16 year old son and a 9 year old daughter. Her family was in need of an affordable housing option. She was dealing with rising rent, which greatly exceeded 30% of her income. On top of rising rent her family was dealing with unsuitable living conditions. Their apartment had leaks and water damage. There was damage to the floor as well as damage her in daughters bedroom. Miss Bizzell and her family partnered with Habitat and now live in their very own home! The children are thriving in school and are healthier and happier than ever!

Fonnie Collins always dreamed of owning her own home to raise her children. That dream became a reality in 2020, when her Habitat for Humanity home was dedicated to her and her family after many years of hard work and patience. Fonnie has since raised her children, and now enjoys the company of her grandchildren in her home. She has found owning her own home has given her a sense of pride she never had before.
