Construction Camp 2025

The 2nd Annual Construction Camp kicks off this year July 28th through August 1st. We are excited to introduce trades like electrical, framing, plumbing, and drywall to this generations youth, taught by local licensed tradesmen. Construction trades offer diverse career paths, with opportunities for specialization, advancement, and business ownership. Be part of "Building the Future with the Future."

The Youth Growth Stock Grant was established in 1992, due to the late Robert Short’s concern for the well-being of the community’s youth. United Way of Cumberland County is the trust administrator. Each year, grants are awarded to local programs, initiatives, schools and scholarships that specifically benefit Cumberland County youth.
