The Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home improvement stores that sell new and used furniture, building materials, appliances and household goods at discounted prices. The ReStores are part of Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity and proceeds support Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in partnership with hardworking families. The ReStores also seek to be good stewards of the environment by diverting more than 5,000 tons of usable items from landfills annually. 

The ReStores collect tax-deductible donations from individual and community donors and resell these items to the public.

Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity ReStore is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical housing ministry that has improved the lives of seven million people around the world through affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations (HFH) will not proselytize. Nor will HFH work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing as part of their work with HFH. This means that HFH will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must (i) adhere to or convert to a particular faith or (ii) listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.

Below you'll find the answers to questions we get asked the most.

What kind of items do you receive?

Household items, such as appliances, kitchenware, furniture, art and decor. Antiques, vintage etc. Commercial grade decorations like cabinetry, sinks doors and windows.

Items we are not currently receiving.

Heavily used items are not being currently accepted, unless they fall in Antique or Vintage category. Only working appliances are accepted. Furniture with stains or rips are not accepted.

Who do we contact for donations?

Until we open for regular business we can accept donations through a scheduled and screening process. Donors should send an email to restore@fayettevillenchabitat.org with photos of items to determine the acceptance or declination of items, drop off or pick-up. We are doing pick-ups on a very limited basis. 

What is the ReStore, and are we open to the public?

The ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, cabinets, building materials and more to the public at reasonable prices. Fayetteville ReStores are open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and during this uncertain times, we are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
