Mr. Joe, retired Master Sergeant: Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity continued completion of our “A Brush With Kindness” and repair event to assist our qualifying Veteran by continuing the painting and the front deck accessway for egress and safety. Volunteers continued the front landing and stairs for the second entrance of the home, and prepared to replace the exterior lights to provide better and safer lighting for the Veteran homeowner and finished all trim paint and clean-up.
Fort Liberty, NC Chaplain Travis Dalsis and his group of active duty soldiers from the 8th Psychological Operations Group provided volunteers, who have continuously supported our Veteran Build Events since 2022. Volta also provided a generous financial sponsorship and five Volunteers came out to support this Veteran Build repair project.
Delta Sigma Theta, Fayetteville Alumnae Chapter supported the second event this Season and are longtime supporters of Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity’s Veteran Build and Women Build.

Our new community partner, the new Amazon warehouse, sent two volunteers to support the event and the community. Leidos, a long-time supporter and sponsor, to help finish the project, and we greatly appreciate their continued support and generous financial contributions.
