Veterans Build

To apply for a home in Veterans Village:

“Veterans Village” is a 7-home cul-de-sac located at Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity’s development, Oakridge Estates, at the corner of Bunce Rd. and Old Bunce Rd. Qualifying veteran partners can receive a home from FAHFH by volunteering 300 “sweat equity” hours and making a monthly mortgage payment that is between $450 and $550.   • Anyone that is currently serving or has served in the military – active duty Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard and Reservists, and honorably discharged veterans.
  • Median income of 25-80% ($20,000-$50,000 for a family of four)
  • resident of Cumberland or Sampson counties for at least 12 months
  • Need for affordable housing
  • Willingness to partner with Habitat

24 Hour Veterans Build

Veterans Build Concert

Be a part of the Veterans Build on Veterans Day weekend by attending a concert with patriotic and spiritual hymns by the Fort Bragg Chapel’s Community Choir! The concert will take place on Friday, Nov 8, 2019 at St. Patrick Catholic Church (2844 Village Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28304). The silent auction will start at 6pm, and the choir will perform from 7:00-8:30pm.

The concert is FREE to attend, but funds raised from the silent auction will support Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity’s Veterans Build programs.  Silent auction items include experience packages such as paintball, rock climbing, and an indoor trampoline park, autographed sports items, designer handbags, gift cards to gyms and a portrait gallery, and  more! Many thanks to our wonderful Veterans Build Concert supports below, who have donated items to the silent auction.
