Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity will host the 2nd Annual Have Your Cake and Eat It, too! luncheon and cake auction at 11:30 AM on April 22 at Highland Country Club. All proceeds from this event will fund the construction of affordable housing in our community. The inaugural HYC luncheon and cake auction in 2014 was a sold out event. Over 100 registered attendees gathered in support of Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope.

Cakes donated by area bakers will be on display through the course of the event, and will go home to the highest bidders during a live auction. Tickets for the event are $25 each. Registration includes lunch, dessert, and champagne. The agenda will include an update of Habitat’s strategies and events by FAHFH executive director, Tammy Laurence, and a testimonial by a Habitat homeowner.

All of the proceeds from this event will support the Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity building program. FAHFH has helped 141 hard working families leave substandard housing and achieve homeownership status. Collectively, those families contributed over $150,000 in county, city, and other property taxes last year. FAHFH is also revitalizing neighborhoods by bringing together hundreds of individual volunteers and supporters from the faith community.

Bakers interested in donating a cake(s) for the auction can fill out this Cake Entry Form and return it to the Habitat Green Street office or email it to office@fayettevillenchabitat.org.
This is event is a wonderful opportunity to promote the services and culinary expertise that area bakers provide to a diverse audience of professionals, philanthropists, and business leaders.
Registration will be available at fayettevillenchabitat.org. Please call FAHFH at (910) 483-0952 for more information.
