This committee works with Construction staff, providing guidance to Habitat Philadelphia’s homeownership program so that board members and other volunteers are involved in the primary project planning and construction specification process.
The Development committee is charged with focusing the organization and its board of directors on essential elements in the fundraising process.
Faith & Community Relations Committee
This committee serves to develop strong working relationships with local churches and community organizations to provide simple, decent, affordable homes for families who lack adequate shelter.
Family Matters Committee
This committee serves two primary tasks: Habitat Homeowner Partner Family selection and Homeowner Partner Family support.
The Finance committee meets monthly and reviews the financials provided by the FAHFH finance department.
This committee serves to develop FAHFH’s communications through a variety of marketing strategies including written and other communications, fundraising and outreach events, usage of social media, and the formation of strategic partnerships with other organizations and corporations.
This committee is charged with making sure the Habitat ReStore serves optimally as a profit making vehicle for the affiliate to maximize their efforts in funding affordable housing in Fayetteville and Cumberland County.
