Volunteers from the community will work with Fayetteville Habitat on Monday, August 27th from 8am-12pm. We appreciate your help!

  • SHIFT: Monday, August 27
  • TASK: Volunteers will remove the ceilings from a donated home, in preparation for the home to be rehabbed for a new homeowner.
  • TIME: 8am-12pm
  • LOCATION: 106 Buckingham Ave. (street parking available – please do not park in front of the neighbors’ house at 108 Buckingham Ave.)
  • REQUIRED WAIVER: Each participant/volunteer must submit one completed “Release of Liability” waiver per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30); the waiver is read/electronically signed on the FAHFH website during the registration process.
  • AGE REQUIREMENT: 18 years and older
  • ATTIRE/SUPPLIES: Participants must wear closed-toe footwear, long pants and clothing they do not mind getting soiled. Work boots are preferred, as there may be nails on the ground at the site. Please bring your own work gloves, safety glasses, and water bottle, if possible. Extra work gloves, safety glasses, water, and all other required safety equipment, tools, and materials will be provided by FAHFH.
  • OTHER: Water and snacks will be provided. Lunch will not be provided.
